Hi,
I'm trying to configure a channel to receive connection only from a specific Queue Manager by specifying the relevant DN in the SSLPEER parameter.
the DN is something like C=XX, L=XXX, O=XXX, OU=XXX, CN=QMA
when specifying SSLPEER("C=XX, L=XXX, O=XXX, OU=XXX, CN=QMA*")
everything works. and looking at the channel status I see this DN.
however, when specifying SSLPEER("C=XX, L=XXX, O=XXX, OU=XXX, CN=QMA") (without the '*') the channel doesn't start and I get error message 9643 in the sender side and 9636 in the receiver side - which indicate a mismatch between the SSLPEER filter and the DN of the certificate.
the error in the receiver also contains the DN it received from the sender - which is exactly as specified in the SSLPEER.
anyone knows what is the problem?

there is a fix avaiable from IBM. |
