Hi I've the following configuration:

Machine 1: MqSeries 6 with One Queue Manager
Machine 2 (remote): MQSeries 6 with One Queue Manager.

Now I create a Cluster on the Remote Machine. Both queue Manager
are a Fully Repository for the Cluster.

On the Remote Queue Manager I create a Queue and share it to the Cluster.
It's now a Cluster Queue also in the Repository of the local queue manager.

Currently I cannot reach the foreign QManager but I see the Repository with the Clustered Queue in the local MQ-Explorer being active.

My goal is now:
I want to send a message to this queue using the name of the local queue manager but it fails with:

MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2085, so apparently the JNDI name cannot be found.

My Questions now:
1. Should it work?
2. Are there any samples how it works?

Many thanks

Use the amqsput sample and see if you can open the queue; if you can, it is a fair bet there is a typographical/case error in the queue name when using MQJExplorer (assumption on my part).

No this should not work and the response is correct. The queue does not exist on the current qmgr and you specified the qmgr name didn't you?
If you want it to work try with a blank qmgr name.

Enjoy
