MQ Series Infrastructure Engineer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The MQ Series Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the WebSphere MQ systems integration solution that facilitates the transport of data in and out of an SAP R/3 system in direct support of the US Navy .
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related (technical environment) experience. Experience architecting and installing the WebSphere MQ suite of products within an ERP or similar operation is highly desired.
A+, Network+, or Security+ must be obtainable. DOD Secret Clearance must be obtainable.
The ideal candidate should:
Possess a strong background in IBM WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker v5.0, IBM WebSphere MQ v5.3, MQ client, Sybase for SAP R/3, IBM MQSeries Links for R/3, in addition to experience with C++, REXX, and Korn shell applications.
Possess a strong background in IBM WebSphere Message Broker v6.0. Possess experience upgrading IBM WebSphere from v2.1 to v6.0, in addition to a distributed installation and configuration in accordance with an established master implementation guide.
Possess a strong background in AIX v5.2 and Windows 2000/2003 operating systems.
Installs system updates (CSD patches) as required to keep the system up-to date or to correct problems, or as requested by the application development team and approved by management. Tune MQSeries software to provide optimal performance.
Consult and coordinate with technical consultants on aspects of MQSeries integration operation.
Work directly with IBM technical support to resolve technical issues.
. Provide 24 hours per day, 7 days per week production support for mission critical interfaces, including problem resolution and off-hours maintenance. The candidate for this position assists as on-call support as needed.
Ensure prompt resolution to critical Production MQSeries problems.
Be responsible for finding and building technical solutions based on best system design practices using MQSeries based software to fulfill business interface requirements |

I m having 4 years of exp and sound knowledge and working experience on both MQ Administration and Message broker Development and administration.
I am IBM certified Websphere MQ V6.0 System Administrator and currently locate in New Jersy and ready to locate any where in USA.
