Hi,
I am trying to use SSL and connect the toolkit and Queue Manager. I have followed every step of the redp4140.pdf, chapter 4 - Connecting the WebSphere Message Broker V6 Toolkit using SSL.
Broadly sayig, I have successfully created self-signed certificates (for Queue manager's keydb, and added them to the keydb used by the config manager.
I have also updated the Server-conn channel, and the configmgr file (including keystore, trust store entries). Everything seems to be fine, but when I am trying to connect the toolkit to the Queue Manager, I get this error:
Could not connect to queue manager 'TESTQM' (MQ reason code 2397)
[TESTQM is the queue manager used by the broker].
Can anyone advice? Thanks. |

2397 : MQRC_AUTH_INFO_CONN_NAME_ERROR
MQRC_AUTH_INFO_CONN_NAME_ERROR
Explanation: On an MQCONNX call, the AuthInfoConnName field in an MQAIR record specifies a value that is not valid.
This reason code occurs in the following environments: AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Windows.
Completion Code: MQCC_FAILED
Programmer Response: Specify a valid connection name
There is a problem with Authentication Information that you have passed
In the same PDF if you go to Page No 129 you will get the information about 2397 reason codes.

Thanks Gayathri, but I have already checked on this. The password I am using is 'changeit'. I even tried to change and pass it as VM arguments at the toolkit startup, Here are the steps:
In the "wmbt.ini" file under the toolkit installation directory, I added this line after last VMArgs:
VMArgs=-Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=passw0rd
Still no success. Thoughts?
Regards,
Jimmy. |
