Hi,
I downloaded WMB 6.1 trial from IBM website and installed successfully.
And I installed DB2 Connect Enterprise 9.5 on the same machine with WMB 6.1.
My problem is when I run 'mqsicreatedb', I had received a message:
BIP9801I: No supported database product found.
The requested database was not created because a supported database product could not be found.
Please check your database product installation.
I have a little bit of experiences working with MQ, and I want to learn WMB, this it the first time I install WMB.
Any one help me?
Thanks. |

yes, I did.
Here are the commands I used.
E:\IBM\MQSI\6.1\bin-derby>startNetworkServer.bat
Apache Derby Network Server - 10.2.2.0 - (485682) started and ready to accept connections on port 1527 at 2008-06-08 04:32:47.280 GMT
E:\IBM\SQLLIB\BIN>mqsicreatedb demo11 -i username -a password -p 1527 -e Derby
BIP9801I: No supported database product found.
The requested database was not created because a supported database product could not be found.
Please check your database product installation.
I don't have DB2 8.2 Run-time client (as request in the WMB setup wizard), so I installed DB2 Connection Enterprise Server 9.5.
In install guide document, DB2 9.5 is supported database.
Please help me. |

Use the Default Configuration Wizard - it'll set everything you need (DB, MQ, ConfigMgr, Broker) up for you. It has the additional advantage that you can deploy the samples directly into this configuration.
It's available on the 'Get Started' screen when you first start up the toolkit (click Help -> Welcome if you don't see it). |

hi ntdung,
could you please let us know whether you were able to install WMB v6.1 trial version successfully ?.
I am also trying to do the same but getting unsuccessful during the db2 connectivity part , i am getting the following error from default configuration wizard
"Task: Verifying that the default broker database [DEFBKD61] does not already exist. failed
If you can manually fix the issues that caused this task to fail, do so and then click Yes.
If you click Yes, the wizard starts the task again. "
Have you installed Db2 connect enterprise 9.5. ?.
Could you please let us know the steps to be done for database configuration?.
How to get the ODBC drivers for apache derby ?.
Thanks

It pretty much tells you what went wrong.

Check whether the DEFBKD61 database exists. This might be the problem. |

The DCW will create the default database for you.
The most likely cause of the error is that a database manager (DB2 or DB2 Runtime Client Lite) has not been installed correctly. There is a link to a trial of the former off the MB Trial page. |
