I am trying to do a setup on a test machine. This is what I have done so far
I have installed WAS XD and Operation grid. I also installed IHS
Created a DMGR profile
Created an AppServer profile.
I created an ODR.
All of them are running.
I installed an application and I can access the application using IHS (port 80), ODR (port 81) and obviously using the port of the server (9080).
http://localhost:80/SITSWeb
http://localhost:81/SITSWeb
http://localhost:9080/SITSWeb
http://localhost:9081/SITSWeb
My question now is, how do I configure IHS to route the requests to ODR and ODR to servers?
Should I generate the plugin on ODR and then copy that plugin to IHS? |

Regardless of what Webserver(IHS) you use (it could be websphere, Apache), you need to have WAS Plugin to communicate to WAS App servers. I am not sure about ODR, as never worked on it. |

After generating the plugin-cfg.xml on the ODR and copying it to WebServer, the requests that came into IHS were routed to ODR and ODR to servers.
Thanks |
