Hi,
I am having problems installing WBIMB 6.0.0.1 on Windows for a test environment.
The customer insisted (to save time!!!) on creating a 'shadow' image of the prod and dumping this on test. On checking this I found that WMQ worked fine, but neither DB2 or 6.0.0.1 toolkit would start. So I reinstalled DB2 - and all databases miraculously appeared and with it broker 6.0 was fine. Deleted 'prod' (copies) of broker and cfgmgr and created new test versions. Uninstalled toolkit (noticed that directories survived so left them) and reinstalled 6.0.0.1. Connected to cfg and broker ok.

Imported flows and noticed that compute nodes were not present in flows. Neither was the icon present in the palette! No errors in install log. Cleans and restart/reboot didn't change anything, so reinstalled. Same result.

Then installed fixpack 6.0.2 with no problems. flows still appeared with red crosses so deleted them and re-imported. red crosses disappeared but then I couldn't open the flow editor: "Unable to instantiate editor com.ibm.etools.mft.flow.editor. Flow did appear in Java editor, but again without compute nodes. Couldn't create a new flow.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

When back on site I will:
a) check the Eclipse error log
b) try wmbt -clean
c) try clean 6.0 install deleting toolkit dir and registry entries
d) try installing 6.1

Any other ideas that I could try?

Peter
