I have a strange problem with SVRCONN channels associated with MQ Queue connection factories defined in WAS 6.1. The number of Running instances of the channel slowly but surely climbs over time, until eventually approaching Max channels on the QM. A classic leak scenario, but only happening in one environment, so it becomes hard to blame the application code when the same code runs in other environments that don't have this problem. Any thoughts on what sort of configuration problem could cause this? The application uses the QCF both via an MDB listener, and by directly accessing it.

Thanks.

Check patch levels of WAS, MQ and verify compatibility and APARS.

This problem was solved by enabling KeepAlive in qm.ini
