I got whole bunch of FMC31050E in the fmcerr.log.
After fmczutil rebind, all errors are gone.

Please advise. Any response will be appreciated!

Not being a DB2 person, I have no idea what the difference is. But the doc pretty clearly states that you should rebind with fmczutil, so that is what I always do.

Hi,

I am not a DB2 expert but as I know, DB2 bind and fmczutil rebind are the same. FMCZUTIL internally issues db2 bind command.

Binding normally hleps to optimize and to have a faster access to the records in the database. When ever a change is made in the DB2 package, one need to rebind the changed package to the database. This help in improving the response time for any query and also to solve some of the existing problems.

Please have a look at the support pac for MQWF - Production Rollout consideration.

Hope this will be of help to you.

Regards
Ved

there are multiple ways of rebinding:
- fmczutil
- db2 bind commands
- fmczrdb -o b -y <configID>

I prefer doing it using fmczutil ... as I expect it to work better (if not same as other two) !

regards
