Hi Guys
Im a complete beginner when it comes to AIX, and AIX command line execution.
I have only just learnt how to untar the tar'd file containing the version 6 install files.
I got the beginners guide to MQ install, and it makes mention of having to put the CD into the CD-ROM, which i fully understand.
Only problem, at the moment, is that we dont have a disk.
Does anyone know of a website that will baby step me through the command line installation of MQ on an AIX box?
I dont know what im looking for, all i know is im looking for MQ AIX install, and i havent googled anything helpful yet.
Thanks in advance.
And yes, i am aware i will have no more AIX/MQ street cred after clicking submit.

In SMIT choose the below options.
1. Software Installation and Maintenance
2. Install and Update Software
3. Install Software
Then it ll ask the location of the MQ Installer. |

Thanks Guys! |
