Hello,

Iam totaly very new to MQ Series. Kindly give me some basic information

I have a requirement of Receiving Files to my server and post files to another server via a IBM MQ Server already running

Is it ok if i install the Client alone in these two servers? How may licenses do i need to do these both?

Welcome to the software. Familiarise yourself with the info centre and search buttons at the top of the page, both valuable sources of information.

Unlikely. You could architect it this way, but you'd lose a lot of the advantages of using WMQ.

Each server installation will require some kind of license. Your IBM rep is the only definitive source of license information.

A lot depends on how you're moving the files across WMQ. It's a commonly discussed topic, the search button will throw up a lot of discussions you may find valuable.
