Hi

I have a requirement to run a message flow with in given time period say 10.00pm to 4.00am daily.

What are the message flow scheduling options available in message Broker or MQ?

Thanks,
VJ.

Search the InfoCenter for the timer nodes (TimeoutNotification, TimeoutControl).

As for my understanding,
using the timer nodes we can start and stop the message flows at particular time intervals but it cannot start message flow at particular time.

Not true. The format of the timeout message confirms you can specify and time value for timeouts:

Help -> Samples Gallery -> Technology Samples -> Message Broker -> Control and routing -> Timeout Processing.

(This is for 6.1; ISTR it's similar for 6.0, though remove the 'Control and routing' bit.)

BTW - Samples use the Samples Gallery, which is part of your local Toolkit installation. That's why it's not available in the online docs.
