I am installing Message Broker v6.1 on 64-bit AIX 5.3 level 7 w/ Oracle 10g 2 with XA

If we install Broker on a 64-bit operating system to all the user application databases that we'll be accessing from the flows have to be 64-bit?

Based on this link, it looks like target user application dBs need to be 64-bit.

Even if there is a slight technical possibility of using a 32-bit DB...

Your life is vastly simpler if everything is 64 bit.

altho i agree with Jeff I would also have thought that prividing you use the correct driver for accessing the DB the broker would not perhaps care as the driver wiull be doing the data retrieval and connection...no?
