Is the DSN you've created for broker or toolkit? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi AkankshA,Vitor
Thanks for your replay.
i am tried in two ways
1.using the DSN which is created at the time of creating a broker
2. creating new database and creating new DSN for that.
But still i ma getting the exception.
Text = [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
and
i dont know hwo to check the DSN using SQL promt |

Let me ask again, more plainly: is this a broker error or a toolkit error? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I'm assuming (as you've not said) the flow is running on a Windows box. Check the DSN is spelt correctly, and is defined at system level not user level. Check the DSN is defined correctly by using Excel or similar to pull data through it. Check that the flow is referencing the right DSN. Can the toolkit use the DSN, does it use the same DSN and can they be swapped over for test purposes? Do other DSNs on the same machine and/or database operate correctly? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Does Windows believe this is a System DSN, or a User DSN?
Did you use the correct driver for the database type? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Hi ,
when u face this problem ,please check the dsn name which your created.
whether broker able to listen this DSN or not, when ur selecting DSN from mapping node it gives a name which broker is listening, create that DSN.
the problem will be solved. |
