Did you get an FDC file? If so, post the top of it here.
And has been said before, you really ought to move to v6. |

Jedi is a title, not a name. But don't stress about it.

There will be *.FDC files in c:<wherever WMQ is installed>\errors or c:<wherever WMQ is installed>\qmgrs\<your queue manager>\errors, these are written when the queue manager or other component hits an unexpected problem. You're looking for a line at the top marked ProbeId, but the top "box" of it is most useful.
If you're new at MQ, get your MQ admin on the case. And whack him with a trout for getting you to do the upgrade; it's an admin job! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Are you entirely sure your upgrade worked? This FDC implies you're running base v5.3 with no maintenance at all.....
This may be an oppertune moment to cut your losses and install v6. Which you should do anyway, as v5.3 is now defunct. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Install v6 instead. Now is the ideal time. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
