I am attempting to do a remote runmqsc from an HPUX server (6.0.2.0) to an AIX server (6.0.2.2). I am getting the error message below.
5724-H72 (C) Copyright IBM Corp. 1994, 2005. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
Starting MQSC for queue manager RUN06WT1.

The following command, issued on a system that does not have message catalog di
One MQSC command read.
1 command responses received.
When I try the same command to a different AIX server (same version level) I do not get this error message.
I've looked at the amq.msg file in /usr/lib/nls/msg/en_US and permissions seem to be fine and consistent on both AIX servers.
Anyone have any idea why this error might be getting generated? There are no FDCs being generated and nothing in the error logs.

I suspect your kernel values are not in sync:
Please have a look of that...on HP-UX box.

This has nothing to do with kernel values.
AMQ8101 is an unexpected error being returned from the cmd server. The msg catalog is fine, but the cmd server or the qmgr data is not. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

Incase if the qmgr data / qmgr is corrupted it will generate a FDC.
