Hi,
In our project we have a requirement of querying multiple tables and form a a response xml message. number of tables to be queried will be around 4-7 depending on the request recived.

Question is :
1 Can message broker query multiple tables in a database? Any document on it will be appreciated.
2. I have never worked on database node in message broker. based on experience how is the performance?
3. Is it an efficient way to let message broker do it or rather get it done by ETL tool?

Thanks,
Jeeth

Yes, it most definitely can. Just go to the Message broker information center!!

For your requirement (getting data from DB) you should just be using Compute node as DBNode is for inserting and updating data.

Yes, a lot of people use Message Broker to access DBs, it is as efficient as any other tool(most of them but may be not all of them) out there.
