Hi All,
Is it a good idea of refreshing the MQ Security Frequently.
If so, what could be the impacts?
Reason here it is the security protocols are getting restarted frequently.

You never need to REFRESH SECURITY after any setmqaut.
You need to REFRESH SECURITY any time the membership of a group that has mq authorities is changed.
REFRESH security is a relatively low impact operation - although clearly the larger the set of authorities, the longer it's going to take.
I'd be surprised if you needed to run it as frequently as once a day, but it shouldn't cause issues if you do. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

No.
REFRESH SECURITY itself only takes a very short time. All it does is discard all cached data about users/groups on the machine, so any new authentication requests have to go to the OS. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

Ah. New fact noted. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
