I have couple questions regarding runtime client.

I have WF 3.6 installed on Windows XP machine.
Does a 3.6 runtime client connect to a V3.5 Workflow server on AIX.

I am getting the following error
FMC_API_ERROR_UNKNOWN : Unknown error. 505

I did fmczchk no errors..
I also used fmczccd and also no errors.

It looks like an API error.

verify the API that you are using in the web client

If you think about it, you can answer yourself.
A newer client can never access an older server - what is the server supposed to do with unknown requests? And this is exactly what the error code 505 is meaning.

You can always use an older client for a newer MQWF server, though.
As work on the fat client was not continued after 3.2.2, it does not support error messages for some return codes.
