I've played around with websphere MQ for a while but would also need to get some insights in the Message Broker for a huge project coming up.
The problem is - that as far as I can see there is no way to install some trial of the Broker, or is there?
What would be the best way to learn it then if I can't play with it? (or perhaps I need to send a cry-baby mail to IBM )

AFAIK there's no trial version of WMB.

IBM sponsored training typically provides the software for use during the course. You don't have to be a cry-baby to get on the course, but you may start crying when the invoice turns up.

So, there are no other ways then. But invoices.. I'm supposed to redirect them to my boss I think. Problem solved then

According to the announcement page (which is for v6.1 of broker) electronic delivery starts May 30th.

Presumably trial & full version will be available from that date.

On IBM's Virtual Innovation Center, there is a class that has several lectures and gives you access to a machine to run labs. It requires a PartnerWorld membership:
