Oracle may be used as a database to store MQ statistics. However you need a Monitoring tool to create said statistics.

So if you are trying to use Oracle as a monitoring tool for MQ you are completely on the wrong track!

Enjoy

FJ - Oracle does make more than just databases these days.

Or at least sells more than just that.

Like Oracle Fusion, which will sweep IBM from the SOA/Middleware market and dump all of us into the Dustbin Of History.

No, really, the sales guy was quite clear on that.

What they are not having is case studies, reference sites, methodologies or samples.

Also slightly alarming to be told the site could have it "free" with the database licenses. I'm not used to enterprise scale software being free.

For only a few dollars more, I'll sell you this blue button to get you down.

We are dump terminals most of the times.........

sales team wont discuss anything with us,

they go directly to the top of the client management and will come in Smile which kills our Smile... by selling a product of $1M with in seconds...

Indeed we've to work on that, if its friendly or not..........

Mods: Better move this to General Discussion Forum

I am sure they have the perfect tool for monitoring AQ and even the JMS installation of AQ on their appserver.

Does that mean that this tool should monitor MQ?
