Hello, all,
I'd like to know about new features related to WTXMB.
For example, will WTxMB be 'built-in' as 'primitive'? and can I build Tx maps on toolkit?
Many thanks in advance, |

The existing WTX Extender for MB (version 8.1) works with WMB 6.1.
Early next year there will be a new version of the Extender, which will be more tightly coupled with both the WMB runtime and toolkit. |

Thanx.
It seems that there are no big changes in WMBv6.1.
One question is that WMBv6.1 announcement letter says that WMB can invoke WTx maps natively.

Do you know what this mean? I'm not sure if there're any enhancements..

I recently found that now WTx v8.2 can generate a "MAR file" as a new deployment option for WMB, but I don't know how it works.
Does anybody know how I can implement and deploy MAR files in WMB environment?

WebSphere Transformation Extender 8.2 also adds a new deployment option to support WebSphere Message Broker. You can now generate a MAR file, which packages all the related artifacts into one file. After this file is created, it can be included inside the WebSphere Message Broker BAR deployment file. The single archive file simplifies the management of map dependencies. |
Many thanks in advance, |

Thank you very much for your reply.
You mean, we shouldn't assess this NOW because the timing is not right or something?
Actually, now I have WTx v8.2 and WMB v6.1 both on Windows and trying this. Should it be on hold?

WTX for Integration Servers 8.2 contains WTX for MB 8.1.0.3 and WTX for WESB/WPS 8.2. At some later date the MB support will be enhanced, but it's not there yet. |
