Log:
LogPrimaryFiles=18
LogSecondaryFiles=9
LogFilePages=1024
LogType=CIRCULAR
LogBufferPages=0

The above is what I have set for a WMQv5.3 queue manager. So what is the total amount of size for my log?

Is it (18primary*9secondary) *(4kpages*1024)=162*4mb=

648MB.

Is that correct?

Don't use v5.3.

I'm sure the v5.3 documentation tells you all you need to know.

Very easy. Just tell the system owner that v5.3 is out of support and either the business is exposed if there's a problem, or the business is paying an unnecessary amount to extend the support.

Works a treat.
