Hi friends,
In our production server mqseries is running on AS/400.
We have got following error message:
AMQ9208: Error on receive from host <hostname(IP address)>
EXPLANATION:
Cause . . . . . : An error occurred receiving data from <hostname(IP address)> over TCP/IP. This may be due to a communications failure.
Recovery . . . : The return code from the TCP/IP (read) call was 3426
(X'X'00000D62''). Record these values and tell the systems administrator.

AMQ9999: Channel program ended abnormally.
EXPLANATION:
Cause . . . . . : Channel program < Channel name > ended abnormally.
Recovery . . . : Look at previous error messages for channel program
< Channel name > in the error files to determine the cause of the failure.
Technical Description . . . . . . . . : None.
Please suggest whether it is a temporary problem and also the solution to rectify it. |

What did your system administrator (or network administrator) say when you told him? |
The message means "connection reset by peer":
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=contact admin
This means the connection request was closed by the server machine. Maybe, there is no listener running or you are using a wrong IP address or IP port. _________________ Regards
