(I've done a search for this in the forums but havent found anything that relates directly to my problem)
This has been happening to me constantly and is getting increasingly frustrating.
I'm on WMB 6.0.2 with fp10
I have my msgFlow project with various ESQL files and my msgSet project which my msgFlow references.
When I am working on one of my various ESQL files and do a "Save", often *every* single one of my field references that uses an mxsd in my entire msgSet project breaks with a yellow warning icon saying "Unresolvable message field reference" throughout every "SET" and "DECLARE" statement, or basically anywhere that I make a reference to a field from an mxsd.
I've changed nothing in my msgSet project.
I'll do 3-4 clean/rebuilds and nothing. I'll then do a clean and rebuild of the unchanged msgSet project and then another clean/rebuild of the msgFlow project and presto -- they all get fixed.
Sometimes that doesn't work until I do a toolkit reload with -clean.
Is this a known issue in WMB 6 and if so, is there a work around? Besides what I'm doing now? |

Does this happen even after you have added the message set project as a reference in you msgflow project?? _________________ Regards

There are some strange behaviour I have come across with toolkit, though not this one (just set the reference and it was solved). _________________ Regards

You just need to make sure the msgset is built first before the msgflow.
Really, you don't even need to clean or build or etc. for the msgset other than once, unless you change it.
That said, it's always good to keep up with iFixes in your Toolkit. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Ahh. That has seriously changed the frequency of the warnings! Thanks Jeff
And yes, up'd to fp11 and seems better. |
