How to trigger the file located in the remote file system from the local system for the trigger events ?
The process i did
I created the queuemanager, initiation queue , trigger queue, and process definition. In the process definition i specified the application id as D:\\remotesysipaddress:filename and i run the trigger monitor, it is wating for the trigger message from initiation queue but it is not triggering the file for the event?
Please help me wat to do?

So in response to a trigger event, you're trying to start a process on a machine different to the one on which the trigger is raised?
You need to use a client trigger monitor, or start a local process which can in turn signal the remote process.
You also need to ask yourself why you're doing this. It's seldom (but is sometimes) the best way of achieving your requirements. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Ofcourse it's seldom but i want to try once
i have done remotedistribution, clustering and remotebroker concepts.
In all the tasks we have the connection like communicating the queuemanagers so it is possible but in this triggering it is exceptional there
no connection except the id address given in the application id.
Thanks Vitor for ur suggestion |
