You can't manage MQ from Message Broker.

configuration manager is not mqseries related, you will not find this in the mq documents. it is broker related. so check the broker documentation and especially the order things have to be installed / created / defined when setting up a system. looks like you got the broker, you got mq, but you missed to define a caonfiguration manager.

so go for the broker manuals.

So why won't they execute? What kind of error are they giving?

You might also want to look at the default configuration wizard. I believe it has a picture of what an environment (ie, broker, config mgr, qmgr) would look like.

You have to create and configure a Broker, and create and configure a Configuration Manager, and then start them both.

Then you can connect to the Configuration Manager, and tell it to connect to the Broker.

This is much much more complicated than that, and than you think it is.

You really need training with Message Broker, in order to do most anything.

Start here.

Hi,

maybe this helps if you do not want to fight yourself through the message broker infocenter.
