Hi,
I am currently in need of getting PutDate (value) i.e. date of the message flow from the MQMD in java compute node.

One way of getting the date from the message flow is by using GregorianCalendar and MbDate class., but I don't want to use that type as I need to conconate different items to get full date.

Is there any other easy way to extract date from MQMD or properties of the message.

The PutDate is always going to be returned to you as an MbDate object from the Java API.

You can call getTime() on that to get the date information as a java.util.Date.
