My client would like to store their SSL certificates on cryptographic hardware, rather than on the AIX file system. They are planning on using netHSM; I would be interested if anyone has been through this and how they found the implementation.
Also has anyone implemented this on any other cryptographic hardware?
In the "Managing certificates on PKCS #11 hardware" section, the Security manual contains documentation relating to "managing digital certificates on cryptographic hardware that supports the PKCS #11 interface."
It then goes on to suggest a series of steps which imply that MQ allows certificates to be managed on PKCS #11 hardware.
