Hi,
I encountered an issue with WMB v6.1 and Oracle 10.2.0.3 Client on Unix Systems...Linux and Solaris.
If you try to deploy an execution group on the broker, the exe. group starts and terminates and finally goes in the restart loop creating a loads of java core dumps which is fulling your file system.
The error comes in the new install and migrated broker as well. |

It's unclear if you're asking for help or stating a fact......
Have you raised a PMR? IMHO you should. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi Vitor,
This is the problem that i am facing and there is a PMR open with the IBM for it.
But just wanted to throw in the question in the forum if anyone else has faced the same problem in the past and what did they do to resolve it (or work around it). |

Fair point - just checking IBM are on board. WMB v6.1 being as new as it is they should be brought in and the problem resolved before the rest of us have to upgrade..... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Is it plain Oracle or Oracle RAC?
I think there are still issues with Oracle RAC....

Hi Jefflowrey,
The probelm occurs with Oracle non-RAC and Oracle RAC.
The issue is that i cann't work on WMB 6.1 and Oracle 10.2.0.3 on Linux systems.
If u are currently working on this setup...den plz let me know. |

The problem is resolved by regressing back to Oracle Client 10.2.0.2.
IBM stated that the issue was caused by a problem with Oracle Client FP3 and therefore Oracle's problem. The offending component is libnnz10.so
Apparently only a Linux issue.
So there's a 'fix' for now, but does somewhat limit your Oracle upgrade options |
