, okay, you guys certainly gave me a lot of confidence and directions to get to where I want. I've read this link http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0601_taylor/0601_taylor.html and tried on it but stumbled upon this step:

Adding the broker to a domain.

By using command line, may I know how do I connect to a configuration manager and add a broker to topology?

You can't, out of the box.

You can write code to use the ConfigMgr Proxy API.
