I'd add that if you're using group id for anything like you're using correl id, you shouldn't.
I don't know what your design team are thinking, or if they are. There's ample evidence of a lack of thought to be sure.

ya,this is programming 101. I'm trying to get versed with ESQL coding.
It is'nt because of lack of thought from the design, from the beginning I had an objective to update the correlation ID,GroupId,Message Seq Number in the MQMD header.
Thank you all of you who helped me in understanding the header better. |

Take a training course. The forum is not geared to this.
