Hi,

I have a bar file which by default has a Data Source entry corresponding to one environment.
I would like to deploy the same bar file to an higher environment with Data source entry changed.

I want to deploy using scripts.

I would like to pass this parameter file as an option with mqsideploy command.Something like this.

"mqsideploy.bat" -b %BROKER% -e %EXECGRP% -bar %BARNAME% -connection %CFGFILE%

Can you please explain how the content inside the connection parameter file should look like?
Is there any bar file modifications to be done, will the DB connection inside the parameter file be picked up automatically?
Will it overwrite the existing DB connection in the bar file?

The connection file is what you create in the toolkit, as a ".config" file.

That is, when you create a "domain connection", you create a .config file.

That's what is passed in here.

Sorry* to be pedantic, but it's .configmgr.

The format of this file is described in the doc for the mqsideploy command:
