guys, we need your expert opinion...
env: wmb 6 fix pack 3, windows.
here's our msg flow structure:
httpinput ->compute(transaformation & soap build) -> http request -> compute -> httreply
when tried to post a test msg in DEBUG mode, it works perfectly fine.. i.e. we see the http response back from the flow
but when the same is done in normal mode(without the debugger attached to the flow), we dont see any response back, but simply return to the command prompt (we are using nc11nt tool to post msgs). this is driving us crazy... can someone please point us where to look at? |

Nope.
This is based entirely on my knowledge of & experience with the http nodes; my desire to help continues unabated. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Try using a network monitor or a tool like nettool to see what is being sent on the wire. To get more help you will need to provide more info... _________________ MGK

Try using TCP/IP Monitor in the Toolkit, really. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Just a thought:
Have you thought about timeouts?
if the httprequest times out you get an error, and if the terminal error or failure is not conected it backs up and the flow finishes without the http reply.
if you are doing it in debug mode perhaps you give the httprequest enough time to get the answer yourself, but in normal mode it times out.
hope this helps..... _________________ You ask why are we slaves, but I ask why are you not? What hideous force in the universe could set you free and forever taken away your peace of mind. |
