Hello,
I want just some explications about MA0C and what it can do in MQSeries Version 6.
Is MA0C integrated in Version 6 or must I install the Support Pack MA0C
Thanks in advance |

Historical FYI, Publish/Subscribe was made a part of the base product in version 5.3 as of CSD 8. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

Hi,
May I know whether the broker version of the integrated broker in MQ 6 is version 1 or version 2?
Thanks! |

Oddly the integrated broker in WMQv6 is v6....
I don't think that's the question you're asking. What do you mean by "version 1 or version 2"? Are you talking about RFH versions? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. What I wanted to know is the broker version setting needed for a TopicConnectionFactory. It can only be JMSC.MQJMS_BROKER_V1 or JMSC.MQJMS_BROKER_V2 (aka "Basic" or "Advanced" when viewed in WAS 6 admin console).
The documentation states that JMSC.MQJMS_BROKER_V1 should be used if the broker is from the MA0C support pack and JMSC.MQJMS_BROKER_V2 for Websphere Integrated Broker. I'm not sure which one MQ 6 is classified as. |

RFH version:
V1 is to be used if your broker is WebSphere MQ
V2 is to be used if your broker is a WebSphere Message Broker product (mqsi) ...
