Hello!
Does any body use any other job than supplied MQM.SCSQPROC(CSQ4BVJR) with CSQ4BVJ1 program for browsing messages on Z/OS queue managers. This application is OK but doesn't show the message header. Thanks for help! |

I did REXX MQ program. It works fine. Also I found supplied MQ job MQM.SCSQPROC(CSQ4BCGR) and it shows message and header. |

CSQUTIL it is used to handle pagesets, to work with mq object definitions and to issue mq commands in batch. it also does some migration work depending on the MQ version. you are also able to unload / load queues, but thats all related to messages.
CSQUTIL is not a message handler, so it will not print messages or do any other action based on messages (except these that can be done by MQ commands, e.g. CLEAR QLOCAL(...))
btw - MA17 Supportpac also shows the header, but it is an ISPF application, no batch program. _________________ Regards, Butcher |
