Can someone tell me if Websphere Application Server Version 5.0.2 is Compatible with Websphere MQ v6.x Are we able to use both, or doe we need to upgrae WAS to v6.x?

Yes WebSphere Application Server 5.* is comptible with WMQSeries 6.*.
