pardon... I am more stupid than normal... I have not had a cigarette in more than 24 hours... If my memory serves me correctly, I terminated amqsput BEFORE shutting down QMgrA.

My next test, I will explicitly remember whether I kept if running or not. I am pretty sure I ended amqsput but wouldn't bet by paycheck on it

msg 7 is on QMgrA after last test where I set the local queue QueueA @ QMgrA and QMgrB to persistent.

In previous unsuccessful test, alias to clustered queue @ QMgrC and QMgrD were set to persistent but local QueueA and QueueB @ QMgrA and QMgrB were not set to persistent.

In successful test, the alias' (aliai ?) and the locals were all set to persistent.

The Alias on QMgrC and QMgrD is the queue that the service requestor puts to. It is a alias to the qcluster at QmgrA or QMgrB.

Since I have found my 'lost message', I don't want to try you 3rd point because the requesting application in production will not be able to do that without change.

I am doing this so that existing applications do not have to change.
