Hi

Can we install MQ 6.0 on a AIX 5.3 server that already has MQ 5.3? Our clients are currently using MQ 5.3 and we would like to install MQ 6.0 on the same server for testing purposes and still continue to use the MQ 5.3 qmgr's.

The only platform on which you can coexist MQ version is zOS.

This means that you can't do it on AIX.

Your client is about a year late in thinking about this, and trying it. But at least they got here now.
