I've installed MQ v6.0.0.0 .
The MQ Explorer is not showing any Queues and Advanced Options under Q manager. I mean there was no expand option under QUEUE MANAGER.

Actually the Q Mgr is running ..but in MQ explorer when i rightclick ON QUEUEMGR and use CONNECT then its giving an error message SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL.

While in command prompt when i m trying to craete a local queue its giveng a message "OBJECT NOT FOUND" but in command prompt i can see all default system queues when i used DEFINE QL(*). and i have aaded users and groups in mqm i mean everything was 5ne still i was unable to see the expand icon under qmgr.
HOPE u understand my anguish and pls do the needful.

That's not an error message it's a queue name. If you look more carefully you'll see an error message refering to that name, probably "Object not found"....

Have you tried to recreate the default SYSTEM objects, as some of them seem to be missing? Like SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL & SYSTEM.DEFAULT.LOCAL.QUEUE?

You think this is anguish, wait until you actually start working with the queue manager. Especially if you don't apply some maintenance.

Restart the computer.

Try again.

Then confirm that there does exist a qmodel called SYSTEM.MQEXPLORER.REPLY.MODEL.

Was this a migrated v5.3 qmgr?

And when you say that you tried to recreate the default objects, you do mean that you did "strmqm -c", right? and not anything else?

And did you have a similar issue with crtmqm?

And did you restart the machine yet?

Are you in MQM group, or Administrators group?

Do you have proper MQ security permissions to do what you're trying to do?

2063 does not mean that you do not have sufficient permissions to perform a task, that is 2035. 2063 means that it has not been possible to determine your security status, probably because of some error in the O/S authentication mechanism.
