Has anyone used this feature?
We've got a clustered environment consisting of 2 "spokes" with a hub in the middle. I actually want to run the MTM from one spoke over the hub to the second spoke but having failed miserably on this I tried to simplify things and just go from the spoke to the hub. I've also failed to get this working.
I started the MTM server on the hub on a queue I created specifically for this task.
I then started the client on the spoke with it's own Reply Queue, and set the Reply Queues in MTM to access them and set the Destination Queue/Queue Manager to be that of the Queue where the MTM server is running. This all seemed quite logical but I've had no success so far. Failing an actual answer does anyone know where I could find any more documentation on the subject (the 2 BMC manuals I have are a little vague)
Many Thanks

Hi Neil,
When you say "clustered", do you mean MQ clustered or OS clustered? We've played around with MTM and seen results, but only as node-to-node stuff....

MQ CLustering I'm afraid, the manual does say that it supports it but then doesn't explain how to set the tests up in a cluster environment. |

Fixed the problem, it was down to our NT servers having security tightened down, basically the Patrol accounts didn't have access to the MTM software, once access was granted everything seems to work fine. |

Thanks for the update - so you don't need to do anything different for MTM over a cluster channel then I take it (which is what you would expect I suppose, it's just another channel). |
