Our information technology department is looking for the right candidate to join our team as Business Integration Specialist. Your main objective will be to perform the installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks that ensure smooth and efficient operation of WebSphere MQ/Message Broker environments, including setup of the queue manager network across platforms. Additionally, you will be able to analyze architecture and security issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting across platforms. You will plan, design and implement the WebSphere MQ/Message Broker environments for high availability, recoverability and reliability. Additional responsibilities include system management and maintenance, conducting performance tuning and troubleshooting across platforms. You will define and setup appropriate backup and restore procedures across platforms, ensuring successful recovery after system failures. You will have a working knowledge on a variety of operating systems including, but not limited to, AIX, Unix, Linux on Intel, Linux on zSeries, and z/OS, along with knowledge of network concepts (TCP/IP and SSL). You will communicate with third-party vendors for design solutions and problem tickets resolutions related to a WebSphere MQ/Message Broker environment. You will develop detail technical documentation with regard to WebSphere MQ, and Message Broker environments. Furthermore, you will provide technical leadership and mentoring, promoting adherence to standardized IT processes, strategic principles and architectural standards.
Being the right candidate, you will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems (or related field) or equivalent work experience in addition to five years of experience implementing Websphere MQ. Must have in-depth administration knowledge with various middleware tools like Websphere message broker, Websphere business integration adapters and interchange server. Also need to have experience with WMQ Clustering,failover concepts and UNIX. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
