Hi there - I created a 64-bit v6.1 broker on a 64-bit rhel 5 server. We have 64-bit DB2 9 installed, and everything seems to be working just fine so far.
I tried to deploy to the default EG, but from what the toolkit is indicating, default is a 32-bit execution group. The log contained BIP2322E after I tried deploying. I created a 2nd execution group that I specified as 64-bit, and I can deploy to it without problems & the message flow under it is working as well.
I apologize if there's already a post on this - I didn't see anything at first glance. Is there a way to change this, or is it even correct that this is happening? I kind of expected everything to be 64-bit by default, since I am using the 64-bit install package... |

I can not explain exactly how happy most of the details in this post make me.
I'm a bit surprised that the default EG is created as 32-bit, if you created a 64-bit broker...
That said...
The Default eg is entirely disposable. Drop it, recreate a new one with the same name that is 64-bit, and move on with your life. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
