We have recently configured the cluster for Websphere Process Server 6.0.2.2 version.I am posting the below query as WPS 6.0.2 uses under the cover WAS itself.
1) I am trying to configure Websphere MQ link with this cluster from the deployment manager, but when I start configuring the sender channel for the MQ link I do not get a selection panel(drop-down) for type of transport chain either Outbound Basic Link or Secure Basic link . To make this work I entered Outbound Basic Link in the tab of others please specify. But what about the Secure Basic Link? can I enter it manually but I dont think we can get the options for key and certificate selection. How to get the drop down list for making these selections?
2)The second problem is with the connectivity from MQ to WPS cluster. The sender channel from Websphere MQ has a connection name parameter which can point to the IP address and port, the deployment manager or either of nodes does not have any SIB_MQ_ENDPOINT_ADDRESS and ports parameters at all.how should I connect to Websphere Process Server Cluster from Websphere MQ as the sender channel will have only IP address and Port to be assigned.I have read the MR01 fix for the high availability of MQ link but can anybody tell me is there any way out other than using C program in MR01 fix pack released (http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg24013895&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en)to select the list of IP address and making a selection.
we have a deployment manager and two nodes all of them on different LPAR's on IBM P5-590 machine. As a result we have different IP address for the nodes and deployment manager .
Also Websphere MQ is on different LPAR and hence has different IP address Is it a limitation with WAS 6.0.2 or have I need to open a PMR with IBM for this.
