Hi,

I work for a company that has created an application that uses MQSeries. A client requires a version of our application that is compiled against their Sun Solaris MQSeries server, but are unable to send us their server libraries. Am I able to download these from somewhere?

Thanks,
MM.

If you are a software developer, you should be able to register for IBM's PartnerWorld for Developers program. Once you are a member, there is a Software Mall that you can get code from (cd's not a download) for the cost of the cd. You can check it out at:

www.developer.ibm.com

There should be a registration button or email address on the page to get more information.

Thanks bower5932.

It's gonna take 2 working days for IBM to acknowledge my registration, so we'll see how I get on then.

Cheers,
MM.

If you are on a Unix platform you could do the following

1) create link (ln -s libMQM_GEN.(sl or so) /opt/mqm/lib/libmqic.(sl or so))
2) compile your program using link for lib ref
cc your.c -o yourPGM -lMQM_GEN
3) then on the server machine create link from step 1 put point it at server lib. ln -s libMQM_GEN.(sl or so) /opt/mqm/lib/libmqm.(sl or so)
