I am a beginner to mq series. I need ur help for creating a new listener i use both 'runmqlsr' and 'amqmdain crtlsr' what is the difference between those two commands?

Hi

both comes under control commands
amqmdain is a Websphere MQ Service Control

There is no need to start both the services here, unless if it is two different listernes

And anyway I would have thought that with 6.0 you'd move to the runmqsc version:
