Hello again,
just a simple question.

I have a local triggered queue on Z/OS. When it receive a message trigger let start a cics process who start a Cics transaction. It update database then write the answer to a remote queue on z/os. Then it sends it to a remote queue on sun solaris .

I have configured a xmit ...as triggered...so...when a message arrive here...trigger let start a process (in this case an mvs process who start channel between z/os and sun solaris).

it's correct in your opinion?
It works...but i want to be sure...

Thank u all

For an XMITQ, set it to be triggered on First, set the Initiation Queue to SYSTEM.CHANNEL.INITQ, leave the Process Name BLANK, and put the Sender Channel Name into the Trigger Data field.

There is no longer a need to define a Process Definition to start up a channel (used to be in old versions of MQ). Nowadays just put the channel name into Tigger Data.
