It's implicit in the fact that you can't control the Name of the ConfigMgr, and the fact that every Broker component has to have a unique name.

There's likely something that specifically addresses this, though, in the section on creating a ConfigMgr.

Hi

Thanks jeff for the reply,

True we cant control the Name of the ConfigMgr.

I never tested this on WBIMB V6, will you put some light on this. I heard we can create couple of more config managers.

On v6 and later, you can control the name of the ConfigMgr component.

Hi

Can we able to by pass this problem by installing 2 instances of WBIMB

Does it make any conflict at Registry level.

No.

In v5, you can't create more than one configmgr in the same logical OS - because you can't have two components with the same name, and you can't change the name of the ConfigMgr component.

in v6 and later, you can. No fancy tricks required.

Also, v5 goes out of support in less than a year. Better to start with v6 now, than muck around with unsupported configs of v5 that will be even more unsupported later.
