Hello,
( 1) What's the usage of the command
"Alter Security interval(12) timeout(54)"?
( 2) The value specified in the timeout say 54, does it mean 54 min after qmgr started? If not, the value 54 starts from where?
Thanks.

1. "Alter Security" -> to define sys-wide security options
Qns
What's the actual usage?
2. The value specified in the timeout say 54, does it mean 54 min after qmgr started? If not, the value 54 starts from where?
Appreciate any expert kindly advise.
Thanks. |

The usage that the manual entry lays out. Frankly I think the only usage of the command would be to annoy your RACF administrator.

From the time it becomes unused - again exactly as it says in the manual!! _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
