Max message size is 100Mb but I don't understand what you mean by "per unit time". Per unit of work, per group, per segment, ...

That 100Mb is of course subject to whatever's hosting the queue having 100Mb-odd of free space.....

(and under certain circumstances 100Mb-odd of free log space)

Don't forget to also increase the size of Xmit queues, DLQ queues, sender channels, receiver channels, clntconn channels, svrconn channels and the queue manager max message size value.

Please call people by name (albeit screen name) not title.......

It's not like the titles mean that much!

(I do not, nor have I ever, owned a light sabre. It is for this reason many business people still have all their limbs attached. Even if they do now smell of trout.)

All v5.3 platforms support 100Mb messages, afaik. This should be doubly true of v6 platforms.

Even zOS at the 2.x level had an APAR that supported > 4Mb messages.

I suppose I do not put anything past the Tandem NSK implementation, however. It's entirely out of my experience, and every posting I've seen on it has been entirely cryptic.
